Mixed Use Development
NWdesign have designed a mixed use development for a rural site currently partly occupied by a disused public house. The architect’s design brief involved the creation of a small sustainable community with new housing, landscaping around a new a village green, refurbishment of the public house/restaurant/B&B accommodation, work units and a community shop. The scheme is intended to demonstrate how such a reclaimed brownfield site can be and developed in such a way as to breathe new life into existing rural settlements. |
