Centre of Excellence for Autism
Hallwood Park, Runcorn
NWdesign are proud to be involved with the design of this unique facility for Halton Autistic Family Support Group (HAFS), covering the Halton area, which offers support to families with autistic children, teenagers and adults. The design work is being carried out by NWdesign in association with Professor MacDonald of the JMU and Joe Forster, a senior NHS nurse with a particular interest in architecture and design for mental health.
A site has already been obtained and a full Planning Approval was granted earlier this year. Numerous public consultations and design meetings took place during the course of the planning application and the resultant scheme is a sustainable 'loose fit, long life' type building. |
